For cannabis clubs, the clubs must first be registered with the Institute for the Regulation and Control of Cannabis (IRCCA) and other authorities. They can only have 15 to 45 members. The clubs are authorized to plant 99 cannabis plants in the same place but cannot dispense more than 480 g of cannabis to each of its members. Surplus produce should be handed over to the authorities.
